Baby Day 2
Sunday - Mom in recovery, getting use to *** feeding again and being up all night with a baby. Mom moved to her room, semi-private since the hospital is full and the family rooms and private rooms are booked. She is the only one is the room, and it actually worked out good - we get extra chairs and food trays.
Hospital has a cool program for lunch and dinner - room service. Call down and order what you want, made to order. And for guests in your room, $4.00 for lunch, $7.50 for dinner - they can order from the entire menu. Good deal, and will lets us stay in the room with Mom till she leaves all day and after school.
Rick came back today and finished up his work - place looks great. I would have thought there would be even more flowers, but its the right amount. As usual my idea of landscaping is flowers ankle deep and covering the flower beds like green on the lawn. His idea is design and what makes the place look like someone with talent planned it out. He even has designs in the flowers - a whale, a something else like back to back candy canes.
