35 Paladin

Made 35 yesterday. Spent Friday night game time clearing out shards and bones, and rather then selling them for a few copper, finished off a number of quest on Clannad. This got me a few pieces of jewelry, which I sold on WaWa, put the money on Lenwe and finished off my Feerott Fern collection and received a 30 slot Huge Collector’s sack. Sweet.

I am not a fan of purchasing collection items to level up. But I certaintly have no problem selling the little (?) items on WaWa. But when you are down to just that last item or two, time to go to the broker and make a transaction. Thats player trading. Buying a ton of collection items to level an new toon from 1 to 20 on collections is just lame.

Crypt of Betrayal Crypt Tempests are a pain. I need these things for 3 quests including 2 book quests. The Trail of Kane Bayle and Cleaning with the Cryptkeeper. Book quests have a funny habit of either giving you kill 10 of A, 10 of A, then 10 of B and so on. Or Kill 10 of A, A,A,B,B,B,C,C,C. It gets boring but the stories from the books are entertaining. Well these 2 book quests where killing greys for no XP, but at thanks to the quest changes of all quests being green or higher, they pushed me to 34.99%. Then I hit 35 at the North Qeynos collector. Not a bad trade off for a few coins selling junk I had idle in the bank.

My quest journal has always had 50 quests in it. Last night I had 17 open slots. I am trying to finish all of the quests in Thundering Steppes, Nektulos Forest and lower level zones before going to do quests in Zek, EL and above.Its kept me in these zones longer then I should be around. The XP has been very slow, but I am in quest mode not adventuring mode. And its nice to have the quests completed. The content and backstories are interesting and well done.
