Battlestar Galactica season finale, part I
WOW. So much to talk about. Starbuck doing it and calling out the name of her dead fiance? Really freaked out Dr. Baltar. And Dr. Baltar in his new job after, what a few hours, is stressed out?
So Boomer is going to kill herself, but can’t do it. And after getting consoled, blows her cheek off? Come on, cylones can aim better then that, can’t they?
At 10:50 I ran to refill my drink for a commercial break and thought how did all this time go by so fast?
The cylones just happened to go to the planet after Boomer with a base ship? There has to be some kind of radio thing going on between the cylones.
So this really was a big episode for Boomer. She is getting killed on cylone occupied Caprica, tries to kill herself, and she discovers an M class planet. She really has to die. If Starbuck’s back to Caprica, you know she will pick up that guy on the planet, I mean its only a huge planet, she has to find the one single human left on the planet. And once he spills the beans on Boomer, she will be killed on BG when they return. So the groundwork is laid out for an end to Boomer. But wait, what twist will we see next week? The jump doesn’t end until next season, and Starbuck, Boomer and the guy on Caprica are all left hanging for us to speculate on till next season?
Madam President, Madam Oracle, Madam religious psycho. Not sure where they are going with this, since the entire prophecy is not known, and only read to us during the show.
Did she need to blab Adama’s secret to get her arrow? And why would an arrow of Apollo even exist, yet alone have survived the nuclear blasts. And if it is such a sacred artifact, would not the children of the gods, the cylones, have it?
Boomer going to run a nuke into the cylone mothership? Hell, she is messed up, why won’t she take a suicide mission. And I don’t know if her face was still messed up in that clip or not.
Mr. Gaeda is turning out a surprise with the cylone radios. Will they work? Will Boomer walk into CIC and set one off? Why does Dr. Baltar not report her as a cylone already?
I am sure I will remember more during the 1AM showing of the show later tonight.
The previews of part II are interesting. We don’t see anything of the crew on the planet except a comment about their strength and Dr. Baltar screaming. “This is mutiny,” that’s a strange clip. Not sure how that is going to pan out. Unless the religious nuts are going to take over the ship.
