So we get the sorid tale of untrurst amongst the three leaders of the remaining colonies tonight. SO’s wife is a lush and a ***, President not trusting the CO, CO not trusting the CO’s wife, and in the middle of it we have Dr. Baltar wacking off in the lab, only to be found by StarBuck. I wonder if SCiFi channel put the “this next scene is a naughty bit” warning up to keep people on the edge of their seat. Did we expect to see some imaginzary geting it on in the lab

So is Baltar a cylone doing fake exams? Did he really get killed in the attacks, and was replaced? Is he the creator of the cylones and to protect himself he planted a subconscious lady in the red dress, or was it a product he was working on, virtual girlfriend?
Once again we go another night just not really knowing what the frack the cylone’s have planned. The huge search on Cylone Controlled Caprica, a thought that Boomer might be discovered, since she forgot to slow down her pace to equal the human.

The party scene certaintly showed us Ms. XO, Ellen, is a lush and a ***. But will this develop into anything else? Will she be sleeping aboard the Galactica, or sent back to a civilian ship and only see the XO on visiting hours? We dont see other spouses on the Galactica, just military personnel. Will they pull rank for the XO, or will they put Ellen under the eyes of the President and put her on the ship with the President and cabinet? She is the wife of the 2nd highest ranking military officer. Does she get perks? Will the President give up those perks, or will she just be the bitchy woman with no man jealous of the slutty girl getting it on all the time? Did I just spill a plot thread we will see snippets of in the next episodes as athe XO’s back story? Somethign to balance out his bickering with StarBuck.

And StarBuck - we didn’t see much of her this week. Just her walking in on a self love session in the lab, and her in CIC watching a radar and ECM screens. Was this an off week for her?

And what about that cylone Mr. Gaeta - we didn’t hear anything from here this week. Dont keep us in suspense - he is a cylone, we all know it.

Lastly, what do we really know who is a cylone and who isn’t, if we can’t see a big green or red flashing light, something to alert the guards. I think next week we will have to see someone exposed as a cylone, just so we can see the test tear someones live, and those around them, apart. Starbuck? No way. The original fans would scream out in pain from their mom’s basements. Boomer? We all know she is. It’s a matter of how long she lasts. And given that 2 cylones have been exposed already, it would not make for good long term planning if they give us too many cylones in the first season. How many more episodes under contract this season?

Great week, great episode, continued development of back story and letting people who they love and hate. And a little bit of SciFi mixed in with the rogue kamakazi cylone fighter
