Some CoV questions…

Okay, I have some general questions, if anyone can point them to me, or reply with an answer, or a simple “the developers have not answered or explained that yet”, I would be most appreciative.

Q1. Can you play Hero and Villain on the same server? My choice would be no. In DAoC, if you make a choice to play on the Guen server, Albion realm, you cannot also play on that server in a competing realm.

Q2. Can a Hero on Justice talk to a Villain on Justice? My choice would be no. Again with a DAoC reference, the realms are enemies, and do not talk or trade.

Q4. Am I correct that you cannot convert an existing toon from hero to villain? While there are numerous stories and comics where this has happened, in general I don’t see this as a big deal. My understanding is that a Villain must start out and work up the ranks, just as a Hero does from security level 1.

Q5. Will there be villain only costume elements added, so that we don’t have the chance of exact same costumes? I know this isn’t graphically practical, but it would be for exciting to have a different set of options as a villian to make them distinguished. In some cases, it would just take making alternations to all of the overlays slightly just to make it different. Reverse the lightning bolts etc…

Q6. Will there be a web based status board of goals, objects, owners and statistics? http://www.camelotherald.com is the bar here for Cryptic to meet or exceed. Show us your best, just like the CoH launch set the bar for MMORPG launches
