Disney’s Hollywood Studios Sci-Fi Dine In - a Gastric Bypass Restaurant Review

This review actually will cover more than just information for those gastrically altered, and I may be basing some of my opinion on previous visits to this restaurant in addition to the one we made recently.  Your mileage may vary at this point in time, as I found very little on the menu I considered safe for WLS post-ops, and the other food I’ve eaten here before was quite a while ago.

I Love You In My Shoes

I don’t get as many Mommy and me days with Granuaile now that she is going to school three days a week.  And even on the Mommy and me days, I’ve been so busy with writing assignments that I don’t get to spend the kind of quality time with her that I could before.  Jim was kind enough to do a lot of the washing and drying on Sunday, so while I do have a pile of clothes to fold, I took the opportunity to spend the day with Granuaile.  We watched some kids’ shows, we played a few games, and we went on the potty - ALL DAY!!  No accidents!!  She wore big girl panties all day long and successfully went on the potty :-)

Pete du Pon

I was browsing www.PerezHilton.com the other day and came across a song by this guy, Pete du Pon.  It was a remake of the Green Day song “Basket Case”.  I loved it.  Not that I hated the Green Day version, but this Pete du Pon version was really, really good.  So I started looking to add a song to my MySpace page, and found one called “Tell Her”.  I realize that he has sort of a James Taylor quality to his voice - it’s soothing and sweet and so pleasant to listen to.  And he is, as they say, easy on the eyes.  His songs are heart songs - you know, ones that make you think of some thing that’s touched your heart - your current love, a lost love, a great date, a crappy day.
